Accession for the class of success: With PX-400R, CASIO extends the PRIVIA family by one ensemble piano. Innovative keyboard features and high class piano sounds make PX-400R a real companion for ambitioned friends of the keys. The extended equipment, featuring 256 sounds, 120 rhythms, registration memory, LCD, SmartMedia™ card and USB interface provides for variety in the word's best sense. Hence, PX-400R is the perfect completion for the PRIVIA class - and it shows all the prerequisites required for equalling PX-100 (beginners), PX-300 (stage) and PX-500 (lighting guide) with regard to sales.
The most important quality features of a digital piano are - beside technical finesses - the keyboard and the sound. In both respects, PX-400R offers a genuine piano feeling. The naturally scaled, 88-key keyboard is equipped with a recently completely overhauled hammer mechanism and offers excellent repetition properties. Equally so the experienced HL Dual-Elements sound chip. It applies different piano samples for weak or strong strokes, thus enabling a lifelike sound experience all the way.
As an ensemble piano, it combines these strong points of a high quality digital piano with typical keyboard features. 256 tones, 120 rhythms (plus 120 one-touch presets), registration memory and the auto-accompaniment will enthuse even technology-oriented musicians. Beyond that, PX-400R offers innumerable extension options via the USB interface and the SmarMedia™ card. And also beginners are taken care of: A two-level learning system offers vital support during rehearsals. The text-compatible LCD shows song lyrics which can be sung directly into the microphone, among other things, and thanks to the sing-along function, the voice is emphasised in relation to the piano accompaniment. Also with regard to the loudspeakers is PX-400 equipped expertly. The 2x 8 watt speakers are integrated into the slender housing, the design stand belongs to the scope of delivery as does the sustain pedal. PRIVIA - that's all it takes.
